What we'll do
OTR's holiday sessions welcome all 11-16s who are either receiving free school meals, have Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), are young carers, or looked-after children. Our programme will take place on site at OTR, in a space designed to be inviting and welcoming for young people. Our flexible setup includes a large lounge, courtyard garden, and on-site kitchen. All sessions will involve some movement activities, and we'll finish by sharing a delicious warm meal together. Our talented practitioners will deliver interest-led sessions that build in different levels of involvement, so young people can choose what's right for them. Each session will be unique and all will involve something to take home - whether it's news skills, things to practice, or a keepsake from any creative expression enjoyed through the session. Activities will change daily, offering inviting options whether you sign up for one of the sessions or all of them. Here's a summary of the holiday programme on offer (please check our tickets for what's on when): Explore printing creativity Lino prints, texture prints and monoprints: Take away your own creation at the end. Arts workshop Choose from a variety of art mediums (e.g. chalk, coloured pastels, charcoal, crayons, coloured pencils, paints, air clay) and enjoy a creative session. Yoga and gentle movement Come and learn new ways to realise and gain energy into your body through movement and breathing skills, allowing your body to feel refreshed and re-energised. We all need that 'us' time! This session will teach the basics to take home and continue! Poetry/spoken word and seed planting Express yourself through words, your words, to strengthen or learn spoken word and performance skills, supported by OTR. No previous experience needed. Seed planting in our courtyard garden. All of this growth and development, whilst potting your own seeds, which you can take home, nurture and grow! If you have any questions about our sessions or want to find out more about us, please contact us at OTRHAF@otrbristol.org.uk

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
