A summary
Join us at Trinity Childcare Holiday Club, based at Trinity Centre in Ossett. Each session is designed to offer a variety of activities that cater to every child, with plenty of opportunities for imaginative play and outdoor exploration. On arrival, families are welcomed at the door by a friendly member of staff. Parents will be asked to provide an emergency contact number for each day their child attends. A staff member will then accompany children into the building, show them where to hang their coats, and help them settle in by introducing them to the other children. Every day features a different themed session, with activities built around that theme. Children will have the chance to take part in baking, crafting, and a range of creative experiences. We also ensure that children spend at least one hour outdoors each day, with access to equipment such as footballs, hula hoops, and skipping ropes. Our food menu is planned in line with the Food Standards statutory guidelines to ensure all children enjoy a balanced diet. Meals may include options such as chicken salad wraps, pasta, or pizza, alongside a daily platter of fresh fruit and vegetables. All staff members have completed Safeguarding, FGM, and Prevent training. There will always be at least one member of staff on site who holds Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene qualifications

About your mentor
Trinity Childcare
To offer high quality child centred childcare
Trinity Childcare is an initiative of Ossett and Gawthorpe PCC which is a charity. It operates as a ‘not-for-profit’ organisation within the town of Ossett. At Trinity Childcare, the vision is to offer high quality childcare with suitably qualified members of staff who work as a close team while building up strong links and partnerships with its customers and schools. It is hoped that through the continuing success of the clubs we can work towards developing community cohesion in allowing positive relations to develop with children from different schools in Ossett.
Our Activities!
Tuesday 7th April (9am-5pm) Let's go on a trip to the Leeds Industrial Museum and explore the former Armley Mills building with its historic machines. We will also explore the unique exhibits and galleries and take part in the workshops available on the day. Thursday 9th April (9am-1pm) During Games Day children will take part in a variety of fun activities to earn points and win prizes. The day will include a mix of sports games and board games, encouraging teamwork, friendly competition, and lots of enjoyment. Friday 10th April (9am-1pm) Take part in our Around the World Day, where children will explore different cultures through food, crafts, and movement. We will be tasting foods from Spain, Greece, Turkey and China, creating a traditional Chinese fan, a Greek plate, a Turkey craft and learning some lively Spanish dancing.
