What we'll do
OCRA teams up with Devon County Council to provide opportunities for the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme. The aim of the Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme is to support children to eat more healthily, be more active over the school holidays and have a greater knowledge of health and nutrition as well as be more engaged with school and other local services. OCRA’s HAF holiday programme runs this summer with our exciting range of activities for 12-16 year olds! Week 1 sees the return of Nerf Wars and a cinema trip, with Climbing and Abseiling with Adventure Okehampton and Foot Golf added. Week 2 sees Arts and Crafts on the menu with a T-shirt design session, High ropes with Adventure Okehampton, a day of fitness at Parklands Leisure Centre as well as VR and console gaming and analogue board games with Immersion. Week 3 will get you moving with Free-G parkour skills, Canoeing, Golf and Cyclocross (bring your own bike and helmet). Week 4 offers Archery and Low Ropes with our friends at Adventure Okehampton, a cinema trip, more electronic fun with Immersion and a Wellness Session, featuring yoga, meditation, and pilates.
