When you arrive

When you arrive, a friendly member of our team will greet you and take the register. Children may receive a coloured sticker to help organise small groups for the day. Gentle settling-in activities will be ready so children can ease into the session at their own pace. Drinks and healthy snacks are available throughout, and our team ensures every child feels safe, welcomed and ready to take part.

Bags and coats are stored safely, and parents are welcome to share any updates at drop-off to help us support your child.

MOBILE PHONES, PHOTOGRAPHY AND RECORDING

To protect the privacy and safeguarding of everyone attending, children and young people must keep mobile phones, smartwatches with recording capabilities and other personal recording devices safely put away during the provision.

Children and young people must not take photographs, videos or audio recordings during sessions. This includes photographs of themselves where other attendees may appear in the background.

If a child needs to contact their parent or carer, a member of staff will support them to do so. Parents and carers should contact the provision team if they need to reach their child urgently.

Where access to a device is required for an agreed medical, communication, accessibility or regulation need, parents and carers must discuss this with the provision team before the session.

Cancellation policy

HAF-funded places are free of charge. As spaces are limited, we ask that families notify us as soon as possible if they are unable to attend so that the place can be offered to another child. For paid places, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the start of the session to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable, as staffing, food and resources will have already been arranged.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
