A summary
Each child will have their own 1:1 staff for the day. That staff will help them take part in activities like horse riding, games on the horse (like horse hoopla or horse basketball!), pony painting, handling and feeding of small animals like rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens. There's green woodworking, treasure hunts, outdoor summer games, art, crafts, archery, and play equipment including a trampoline. Because it's 1:1 staff, your child can choose the activities they like. There might be some group games or group activities but no pressure to join in. We are very rural in a lovely peaceful location and never have more than 8 children on site at once so it never gets too noisy or overwhelming. We really suit those who struggle in big or noisy groups.

We have a number of horses and other animals. There's also machinery and tools around and we're not a secure site - so we're not suitable for all SEN children. We can discuss this with you when you request to book.
Our sessions will be 10.30 to 2.30 on set days across the summer. Rutland HAF children will usually have sole use of the site on those days.
A packed lunch will be provided.

New Leaf Triangle CIC is a not-for profit organisation providing a range of animal and outdoor-based activities for children over the holidays. Our activities are inclusive and often aimed at those with SEMH difficulties and other neurodiversity - offering 1:1 support or small group support, with staff experienced in trauma, attachment issues, ASD, ADHD, ODD and anxiety. We offer fun, stress-free and therapeutic activities such as horse riding, animal care and handling, forest activities, woodworking, archery, arts and crafts and fun games.

My experience is an educational activity, and the ‘14-day cooling period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 therefore applies. After the 14 day period my standard policy will apply.
