A summary
This creative one-off session is designed for neurodivergent teenagers aged 13–18 who are interested in photography, collage, creativity and self-expression. Using photography and simple zine-making techniques, participants will explore taking creative photos, experimenting with layout and creating their own mini zines in a relaxed and supportive environment. The session is designed to be calm, low-pressure and sensory-considerate, with no expectation of previous experience in photography or art. Young people will be encouraged to work at their own pace and explore creativity in a way that feels comfortable to them. This session also acts as an introduction to our 4-week Neurodivergent Teens Photo & Zine Club starting in September, giving young people the opportunity to try the creative approach before deciding whether they would like to sign up for the full programme.
