What we'll do
NBIL CIC are pleased to confirm our Easter Holiday club in partnership with Liverpool City Council and MPAC This group is not specifically for children with SEN and we welcome all children. If your child has not attended our sessions previously and is either on the pathway or has a diagnosis of ADHD/ASD or other please speak to us first to ensure we can meet your child's needs. We deliver a mixture of educational and fun activities as well as days out. Our sessions are led by qualified teachers, teaching assistants and HCA's. Our staff come with a wealth of experience in different settings. We also bring in third party organisations to run sessions with children which include cooking, story telling and educational providers. Each day the children will receive a nutritional breakfast, lunch and two healthy snacks. Children will be given their own water bottles that they can also take home on their last session. Water bottles will be decorated with their own design and name and they will have access to water during the day. Please speak to us if your child has any diet requirements.

About your mentor
New Beginnings - Improving Lives CIC
Giving hope and creating change.
New Beginnings – Improving Lives CIC was set up in November 2019 by Director and Founder Michelle Roach a former NHS worker with lived in experience of mental health and cancer. NBIL was primarily set up as a Social prescribing and advocacy service to support and signpost people who were unable to access services or express their views and wishes. This service is our main core project. In February 2020 We set up a Men’s Mental Health Boxing and Peer support group due to a lack of services in the area to refer Men into. Men’s suicide has always been higher then that of women but both are on the increase, rising by 10.9% in 2018. We had services we could readily refer into for women we didn’t for Men. We couldn’t get funding to start a group despite the need and lack of services across the city we self funded the program. This is an ongoing service and our aim is to continue this great service due to its success and uptake. NBIL CIC has and adapted and changed over the years due to the demand in need and in our communities. Our core groups as of 2024 are as follows, Emergency Foodbank HAF Out of school activities Community store Mobile pantry Boxwell Liverpool Support/Signposting Free weekly community meal You can find up to date information of all our programs via our website www.nbil-community.org
What inspires me
As the owner/Founder of NBIL I have a child with a diagnosis of ASD. It is important to me to offer a safe space for our children were they feel safe, valued and their individual needs are met. I have empathy for parents with children with additional needs and I am always available to discuss any concerns or worries prior to booking or during your child's placement with us.
Cancelling
Attendance, we ask parents/carers if you can not attend please cancel your booking. We understand from time to time things come up or children with additional needs may not be up to attending. However we are here to work with you and your child so you have the best experience. Please don't waste a space and opportunity for another child.

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.As this is a session with only 10 spaces - please always try to give as much notice as possible if your child can not attend. The session fills up and we would not want another child to miss out.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
