Nature Explorers: Woodland Adventure!
Get ready to explore, discover, and enjoy the amazing nature all around you! Join us for a fun-filled, hands-on outdoor adventure where children can become official Nature Explorers.
Using the very special FADRA Woodland Explorer Passport, we’ll dive into a variety of exciting, nature-focused activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity.
What We'll Be Doing:
The Ultimate Scavenger Hunt: Search high and low for feathers, spider webs, rough textures, and things that float. We'll even hug a tree and stop to listen to the birdsong!
Woodland Wildlife Spotting: Grab your imaginary binoculars and see how many creatures you can spot, from squirrels and ducks to butterflies and frogs.
Build a Raft: Use natural materials to build a mini raft and test its floating skills on the water.
Make a Bird Feeder: Create a bird feeder to hang in the trees and help feed our feathered woodland friends.
Nature Craft Activity: Get creative with nature! Use the woodland treasures you find to craft something unique.
My Favourite Discovery: Wrap up the day by drawing or writing about your absolute favourite part of the adventure.
At the end of the session, every child will proudly complete their passport and be crowned an official FADRA Woodland Nature Explorer!
