What we'll do
Please book responsibly: To help ensure fair access for all families, we kindly ask parents to avoid booking excessive numbers of sessions during the initial booking period. Bookings are request-based and will be reviewed over the first few days after release to help ensure fair access across the programme. Families will be notified once places are confirmed. Young Rangers is designed to be the perfect way to develop your enthusiasm for nature - from investigating species in different habitats to taking part in a range of activities to connect with nature for health and wellbeing. We will then help attendees develop their bushcraft skills, including safe fire lighting and tool use. Attendees will need to wear appropriate outdoor clothing and strong boots for activities in the woods. If bringing their own refreshments, please avoid food containing nuts as Nower Wood is a nut-free centre. Please be aware there is no shop nor café on site.
