What we'll do
After School Club at Allesley Hall Primary School Open Monday to Friday, 3:30pm – 5:00pm The After School Club at Allesley Hall Primary School is a warm, welcoming environment where children can relax, play, and engage in fun, structured activities after the school day ends. Open from 3:30pm to 5:00pm every weekday, the club provides a safe and supportive space for pupils to continue their learning journey through play, creativity, and social interaction. Each afternoon begins with a gentle wind-down from the school day. Children are greeted by friendly, familiar staff who help create a calm yet engaging setting where children feel comfortable and at home. The first part of the session allows children to settle in, choose from a variety of play-based activities, and catch up with friends. Staff encourage a mix of indoor and outdoor play depending on the weather, with access to the school’s outdoor spaces, games, books, crafts, and quiet corners for those who need some downtime. A key feature of the club is the choice it offers: children are welcome to take part in the planned activity of the day or enjoy a more relaxed, free play approach. The planned activities vary throughout the week and may include arts and crafts, sports, outdoor adventures, cooking club, dance, gymnastics and movie making. Alternatively, children who prefer a more flexible approach to their after-school time can opt for free play. A wide selection of toys, board games, puzzles, dress-up costumes, LEGO, and drawing materials are always available. This approach allows children to follow their own interests and imaginations, helping them to unwind and express themselves after a busy day at school. At around 4:30pm, a light snack is served. This might include fruit, crackers, sandwiches, or toast, accompanied by a drink of water or juice. Snack time is a relaxed social opportunity, allowing the children to sit together and chat about their day while recharging their energy.

Midday, everyone gathers for a family-style lunch, where children and staff share a meal, talk about their favourite parts of the morning, and bond with friends both new and old. Every day at My Activities is a new adventure that brings joy, growth, and unforgettable memories!
