A summary
Mums & Kids is a brand new community wellbeing session delivered by Sisters of Steel CIC at New Beginnings Personal Training & Wellness Facility in Scunthorpe. These sessions have been created to give mums a safe, supportive and welcoming space to focus on their own physical and mental wellbeing whilst also involving their children in positive movement and fitness activities. This is not childcare whilst mums train — this is about families moving, exercising and building healthy habits together. We want children to grow up seeing exercise, confidence and wellbeing as something fun, empowering and accessible for everyone. Sessions will include: • Fun fitness activities for mums and children • Children’s mini gym equipment • Mini weights designed especially for children • Confidence-building activities • Supportive community connections • A relaxed, non-judgemental environment The sessions are suitable for all fitness abilities, including complete beginners. Thanks to Pride in Place funding, these sessions are fully funded for eligible participants living in Scunthorpe. We are passionate about helping women and families feel stronger, healthier, more connected and more confident together.
