A summary
All Aboard for a Summer of Adventure at Didcot Railway Centre! This summer, join House of Fun for an action-packed multi-activity holiday camp set in the heart of Didcot Railway Centre’s 21-acre heritage site. Each day, our home base is a vintage railway carriage—a truly unique setting where imaginations can run wild and adventures come to life. Designed for children aged 5–13, our camps run from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, offering a flexible, fun-filled schedule packed with hands-on activities. Kids have the freedom to choose what they’d like to do throughout the day, making every experience exciting and personal. We’re bringing the fun to life with five themed weeks, each bursting with creativity, curiosity, and confidence-building moments: Week 1 – Wellbeing Week A calming, confidence-boosting week focused on mindfulness, creativity, and self-expression. Week 2 – Adventure Week Thrilling quests, imaginative play, and mystery-solving that encourage curiosity and creative thinking. Week 3 – Sports & Science Week A high-energy blend of games, experiments, and activities that challenge minds and get bodies moving. Week 4 – Survival Week Outdoor challenges and hands-on activities that build teamwork, resilience, and problem-solving skills. Steam Day Special – Every Wednesday Wednesdays will be extra magical. As part of Didcot Railway Centre’s Steam Day, children will have the exclusive opportunity to ride a real working steam train, see the mighty engines up close, and explore the historic signalling centre. Discovery Day Special – Every Thursday & Friday As part of Didcot Railway Centre’s Discovery Days, children will have the chance to explore the engines up close, step inside the signalling centre, and learn all about how the railways work. A true hands-on experience for curious minds. Join us at Didcot Railway Centre for a summer full of laughter, learning, and steam-powered inspiration!
