What we'll do
At our Movie-Making Club, children will step into the exciting world of film and creativity! Each session is packed with hands-on activities that help them explore every part of the movie-making process — from brainstorming ideas to watching their finished films on the big screen! Here's what to expect: ✅ Plan and write scripts – Children will work individually and in teams to come up with fun story ideas and turn them into mini-scripts. ✅ Design sets and costumes – They'll get creative with props, backdrops, and costume ideas to bring their scenes to life. ✅ Act and direct – Whether they want to be in front of the camera or behind it, every child gets a role in the production. ✅ Use real filming equipment – From cameras and tripods to basic editing tools, children will learn how films are made using simple, child-friendly tech. ✅ Edit and watch their movies – They’ll learn basic editing skills and enjoy seeing their own short films come together on screen. ✅ Build confidence and teamwork – The club encourages communication, imagination, and collaboration in a fun, supportive environment. A day at My Activities is filled with excitement, exploration, and new friendships! Children are grouped with others of a similar age to ensure a fun and supportive environment. Each day, they participate in six diverse activities, ranging from sports and arts & crafts to outdoor adventures, inflatables, and unique special events that spark curiosity and creativity. Throughout the day, our activities are designed to keep children engaged, active, and learning in a way that feels like pure fun. Midday, everyone gathers for a family-style lunch, where children and staff share a meal, talk about their favourite parts of the morning, and bond with friends both new and old. Every day at My Activities is a new adventure that brings joy, growth, and unforgettable memories!

Here are a few important details to note: ? Children will be collected from their classrooms at 3:30 PM by a member of the club staff. ? Your child will need a named water bottle each session to stay hydrated. ? Pick-up time is 4:30 PM
