A summary
Our Summer HAF programme offers a fun, safe and engaging environment packed with different activities every day. Tuesdays and Thursdays begin with breakfast before young people choose from a range of exciting activities including sports, crafts, cookery, games and trips out. All groups return for a hot healthy lunch followed by supervised free time using facilities including pool, table tennis, Xbox, gym equipment and more before finishing at 1pm. Wednesdays are our full-day trip days, running from 9am–5pm, giving young people the opportunity to enjoy exciting experiences and outdoor adventures throughout the summer holidays.

Please ensure children are dropped off and collected promptly at the advertised times each day. Children should attend in suitable clothing for both indoor and outdoor activities and bring weather-appropriate items where needed, such as a coat for wet weather, or sun cream and a hat during hot weather. Trainers are recommended for all activities. Refillable drinks bottles will be provided daily to help keep young people hydrated throughout sessions.

The Melton Learning Hub aims to provide an inclusive, supportive and welcoming environment for all children and young people. We have experience supporting young people with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD, social, emotional and mental health needs and learning difficulties.
Please ensure any additional needs, medical information, allergies or support requirements are detailed during the booking process so staff can provide appropriate support wherever possible. The Melton Learning Hub is a charity-based alternative provision organisation supporting young people and families across Leicestershire through education, youth services and community projects. Alongside our educational programmes, our HAF scheme provides fun, engaging and enriching holiday experiences for children through trips, sports, crafts and physical activities. Our aim is to give young people the opportunity to stay active, build confidence, make friends and create positive memories in a safe and supportive environment.

Cancellation policy
HAF places are limited and in high demand. If your child can no longer attend, please cancel the booking as soon as possible so the place can be offered to another child.
My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
