Join us for this historical moment of the relaunch of Lowestoft Carnival!!
being held on the 17th August.
We ask for all of those that will be joining us on the procession to arrive at the Involve Centre by 12.15pm This timing is strict as we need to arrive in the procession at the correct timing as allocated to us.
Involve have been very kindly been lent an old eastern counties bus for the procession so SU's do not need to walk the route.
The procession will then start from London Road South heading down turning right by Notleys and then travelling up towards Kensington Gardens where the procession will disperse.
The parade is expected to take approx. 90 minutes so we ask for parents/carers to be at The Involve centre to collect service users at 3.30pm Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that we won't be late so please just wait for us to get back.
Please ensure that SU's have suitable clothing for the weather (the carnival will go ahead even if it is raining!) It will inly be cancelled if there is severe weather warnings in place. Please also ensure that they have bottles of drinks with them with lids. No open containers/cans please.
