Lorenzo Violet 11 Plus - Maths, English, Verbal/Non-Verbal Reasoning Tuition

I am an advocate for both Home Education and school! Ideally, they should work in synergy. I had the privilege of home educating my child during her primary years and through the 11 plus journey and had such great fun doing so! We found learning so organic and in EVERYTHING! She excelled in all areas: socially, emotionally, communicationally, academically, in self-confidence, independence, ........ the list goes on and on. Her teaching went wherever she led us ..... Also, I am a fully qualified teacher of decades (- don't tell my age) who also ran and owned a tuition company for many years and taught English and Maths up to GCSE level. Having been a Chair of Governors for over a decade, informal Consultant to headteachers, and representative in Education Law as a barrister - I am an avid supporter of education and learning having approached it from all angles. Analysing that both formal school and home education had great attributes that ought to complement each other - I wanted to find a happy merger of the two. I believe learning should inspirit the child and not dispirit them.... and should be as much as possible tailored to their style of learning and interests. Promoting confidence, respect and self-worth. I am also a staunch believer that making learning fun and challenging with discipline, identifying individual learning styles and teaching to accommodate - is the recipe for a 'successful' education.
