A summary
Welcome all children!
We will take the register as soon as the children arrive on time at 9:00 a.m.
Children will need a refillable water bottle. Please remember that we are a nut-free setting, and we do not allow fizzy drinks if you choose to send any additional snacks.
Children will then pack their provided packed lunches into their rucksacks (please ensure they bring a rucksack so their hands remain free when we are out and about).
If your child has any prescription medication (such as an inhaler or EpiPen), please inform a play leader of its location in their bag.
A medication form must be completed on the first morning.
Each morning, staff and children will go over the club’s rules together to ensure the children know what is expected of them and know who to go to if they need any support throughout the day.
After choosing a Hi-Vis vest, children will then be paired up and placed into small groups under the supervision of a play leader.
From there, the daily adventures begin!
We aim to return by 4:00 p.m. each day. If we expect to be delayed, we will notify you via WhatsApp and through the booking app.

Booking
Please contact us as soon as possible if your child has any behavioural difficulties or SEND needs, so that we can discuss how best to support them.
Your booking cannot be confirmed until we have spoken with you and fully discussed their requirements.

Mobile Phones
We understand that some children may travel to Little Strawberries on their own and may need a phone to communicate with you. Once they arrive and have let you know they are safe, they must hand their phone to a play leader, who will lock it away securely. It will be returned to them when they leave the club.
Children who travel with parents should not bring a phone to the club.
If any child is seen with a phone during the day, it will be taken away and returned only to the parent or carer at collection time.

Medication

Collection
If someone who is not on your child’s authorised pick-up list is collecting them, they will need to know the password entered by the parent on the booking app. This ensures we are safeguarding all children.
Without the correct password, no child will be allowed to leave.
The password can be updated at any time through the app.

Little Strawberries
Little strawberries are a small childcare business which is run in the Greenford community. We provide a safe and reliable service, in a central location and great transport links. With Little Strawberries being in a community area, it gives more families the opportunity to benefit from our services. The main benefit of the Little Strawberries Club being a small private club is that children can have one to one care and staff are able to focus on children’s individual needs. We provide a homely environment, and all children aged 5 and under are provided with staff key workers. Establishing a secure environment where children feel happy, secure, and protected. offering a variety of entertaining activities together with everyday unforgettable adventures that promote growth and learning. Encouraging children to have positive attitudes, respect, and social skills. All in a supportive and inclusive environment.
