Please note: We need 24 hours' advance notice to cater for allergens, as the food is prepared the day before. If you miss the deadline, we kindly ask that you provide your child with their own allergen-free food.
Programme Summary
Join us for Little Roots and Wild Things, a series of nature-based family sessions designed to encourage creativity, exploration, movement, and connection with the natural world. Each day offers hands-on activities inspired by the outdoors, giving children and their accompanying adults opportunities to create, play, learn, and explore together in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Sessions run from 10:00am to 2:00pm and are suitable for children attending with an adult.
Each session will also include healthy snack preparation and a shared group lunch, giving families the opportunity to learn simple food preparation skills, enjoy nutritious food together, and build connections within the group.
Day 1 – Movement & Balm Making
Date: Wednesday 22 July 2026
Time: 10:00am–2:00pm
Enjoy a day of outdoor movement, games, and exploration designed to get bodies moving and minds engaged. Families will also take part in a balm-making activity, learning how natural ingredients can be combined to create a simple soothing balm to take home.
Day 2 – Animal Play & Botanical Mask Making
Date: Wednesday 29 July 2026
Time: 10:00am–2:00pm
Discover the wonders of wildlife through imaginative animal-themed play and creative activities. Families will also create beautiful botanical masks using leaves, flowers, and other natural materials.
Day 3 – Garden Crowns & Wild Collage
Date: Wednesday 5 August 2026
Time: 10:00am–2:00pm
Celebrate the beauty of nature through creative art and craft activities. Participants will design their own garden crowns and create unique wild collages using natural materials gathered from the environment.
Please note: All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout every session. Healthy snack preparation and a shared group lunch are included as part of each session.
