A summary
Our Forest School method is a unique way of building self-esteem, independence and a positive attitude towards learning as children explore the natural world. Our role is to support their play and we allow the children to play whatever the weather (except the most extreme) within our designated forest school area.
A camp fire is lit to heat water and to cook food but all children show how responsible they are while sitting in a log circle for this.
We encourage the children to play, explore and learn in the forest's natural environment using their imagination and playing with items made out of objects found in the forest.

We meet your children at 9am in the Limnerslease car park where they say goodbye to carers before walking up to our site in the forest. They start with a circle time introducing them to the day's choice of natural craft activities and our safety rules.
Our activities change depending on the seasons and what natural resources we can find around the forest but include: bug hunting, mud painting, shelter building, weaving, whittling and many more.
Late morning we break for a snack, usually cooked on the fire. A hot lunch is provided with a healthy pudding of fruit.
We walk back to the car park for 3pm to meet you there.
