Linx Youth Project- Trips

This youth provision offers a wide range of engaging and meaningful trips for young people aged 10 to 16, aimed at broadening their experiences and supporting their personal growth. Each trip is designed to be fun, safe, and accessible, while also encouraging young people to step outside their comfort zones and try new activities. Whether exploring cultural venues, enjoying outdoor adventures, or taking part in local community experiences, the programme focuses on creating opportunities that are both enjoyable and enriching.

Bishopton Lake- The aqua park at Bishopton Lake provides is a fun and active outdoor experience that helps develop confidence, balance, coordination and teamwork. As they climb, jump and navigate the inflatable obstacles, they improve their physical fitness, problem-solving skills and resilience while learning to challenge themselves in a safe environment. The activities also encourage communication, social interaction and water confidence, helping children build friendships and enjoy the benefits of staying active outdoors.

Flamingo Land- A visit to Flamingo theme park helps to build confidence and resilience as children try new experiences, while the zoo provides opportunities to learn about a wide variety of animals, their habitats and the importance of conservation. Throughout the day, children develop social skills, communication and teamwork as they enjoy activities with their peers, creating lasting memories while staying active and engaged in a fun, educational environment.

saltburn beach- A visit to Saltburn Beach provides children with a fun and engaging outdoor experience that encourages exploration, physical activity and teamwork. Through rock pooling, children can discover a variety of marine life and develop an understanding of coastal habitats and the natural environment. Taking part in beach sports helps improve coordination, communication and cooperation, while swimming builds water confidence, fitness and resilience. Together, these activities promote healthy lifestyles, curiosity and social interaction, allowing children to learn and have fun in a safe coastal setting.
