A summary
This basketball camp is perfect for players aged 12–16 who love the game and want to take their skills to the next level in a high-energy, competitive environment. Across the camp, players will train with experienced coaches, compete against other motivated athletes, and experience what it’s like to develop in a professional-style basketball setting. At Let’s Get Active (LGA), our Summer Basketball Camp is designed to challenge and inspire young players through high-quality coaching, skill development, and game-based learning. Sessions will focus on key areas of player development including ball handling, shooting, footwork, decision-making, defence, and game IQ — all delivered through engaging drills, competitive scenarios, and live play. Players will take part in skills competitions, scrimmages, team challenges, and performance-focused training sessions that encourage hard work, confidence, leadership, and teamwork. Whether players are looking to sharpen their fundamentals, prepare for club basketball, or simply enjoy competing with other passionate players, the camp provides the perfect environment to improve and grow. There will also be giveaways, camp awards, and opportunities for players to showcase their development throughout the week in a positive and supportive atmosphere. Our camps are inclusive, energetic, and designed to help every player feel challenged, supported, and motivated — leaving with improved skills, greater confidence, and unforgettable memories of the game they love.

Based across East and South London, LGA delivers basketball academies, early years physical literacy sessions, school programmes, and holiday camps that focus on developing confidence, teamwork, and lifelong wellbeing. Beyond sport, LGA emphasises mentorship, leadership, and personal growth—creating safe, positive environments where every child can thrive both on and off the court.
Louis
Lead Coach
I’ve spent over 10 years working with young people through sport, and I still get excited about every single session. As lead coach at our upcoming camp, my focus is on creating a fun, safe, and inclusive space where every child can feel confident and enjoy being active—whether they’re new to basketball or looking to take their skills to the next level. I believe in making learning fun, encouraging teamwork, and helping each child feel like they belong. I can’t wait to welcome your child to camp and help them have a brilliant time on and off the court!
Brenda Annan
