The Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work qualification is designed for individuals who wish to act as an emergency first aider in their workplace. Upon successful

Completion of this qualification, candidates will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give safe, prompt and effective first aid in emergency situations.

Over a day of training learners will develop the skills and knowledge to deal with a range of first-aid incidents and situations associated with a work environment.

The course will enable the learner to:

- deal with an unresponsive casualty,

- perform CPR,

- recognise and deal with a casualty having a seizure,

- provide aid for both minor and major injuries etc.

- AED usage is also covered on the course.

The day will consist of several practical assessments and depending on which course you have booked onto one or two multi choice assessments at the end of the day.

The result from this will be given to you on the day.

Lunch is not provided. There is an on site cafe and vending machine available to purchase food and drinks or alternatively you may bring your own food.

Photo identification must be shown to the trainer on the first day of the course.

Please wear appropriate clothing, as due to the nature of the course, you will be working on the floor at times.

All course materials including booklets and handouts will be supplied.

Please note - Delegates must be able to show competent CPR on the ground for 2 minutes to a casualty.
