Knockhatch Forest School & Adventure Park CRF Funded Days!

Get ready for a day packed with adventure, excitement, discovery and outdoor fun!

Our Knockhatch Forest School & Adventure Park Camp CRF Funded Days give children aged 8–13 years the chance to enjoy an exciting, enriching and truly memorable experience. With a fantastic mix of fun, learning and adventure, all within a safe and supportive environment, there’s something for every young adventurer to enjoy.

The camp runs from 9:30am until 3:30pm, providing a full day of structured activities, exciting experiences and care.

Adventure Starts in the Park!

Set within the vibrant surroundings of Knockhatch Adventure Park, children will be split into groups and enjoy a brilliant variety of activities throughout the morning.

Young adventurers can experience a combination of favourites including:

  • Froggies Soft Play
  • The Dragon Castle
  • Bouncing Pillows
  • The Lost World Barn
  • Sherlock Holmes Mystery
  • Water Slides
  • …and so much more!

After an exciting morning of exploring and having fun, the children will head the woodland area for the afternoon. Firstly, participating in making their own lunch, using the forest school fire-pit (heavily supervised by a qualified instructor).

***Please note that as lunch will be cooked on the Forest School fire pit, we’re unable to cater for allergies or individual food preferences. Nor can we guarantee in advance the daily menu. If your child does have food preferences or allergies, please select the packed lunch option when booking.***

After lunch, the adventure continues in our very own 2.5-acre private woodland area, where children can let their imaginations run wild!

Managed by our qualified Forest School leads, the woodland is filled with opportunities to explore, play and discover. Children can enjoy all the Forest School favourites, including a fire-pit, mud kitchen, rope and tyre swings and woodland trails.

There will be plenty of opportunities for free play and choice, alongside exciting structured activities such as:

Bug hunts

Den building

Scavenger and treasure hunts

Crafting

Forest School activities

Games and outdoor adventures

And for those who are feeling a little less adventurous, there’s no need to worry! Children will also have the opportunity to visit some of the animals and enjoy a little peace and quiet.

Fun, Friendship & New Skills

Our camp is delivered by friendly, trained staff who place a strong emphasis on safeguarding, wellbeing and positive behaviour.

Throughout the day, children are encouraged to develop their independence, resilience and social skills in a structured yet relaxed environment. Most importantly, they’ll have the chance to have fun, try new things and make new friends along the way!

CRF Funded Holiday Fun!

We offer funded spaces through the Crisis and Resilience fund.

These days support children and families by providing access to high-quality holiday provision that combines healthy food, physical activity and enriching experiences.

So, whether they’re racing down a water slide, solving a mystery, building a woodland den, searching for bugs or simply enjoying time outdoors with new friends, children can look forward to a fun-filled day of adventure, learning and discovery!

***This activity has been funded through the the UK Government's Crisis and Resilience Fund and coordinated by East Sussex County Council. Fully funded places are available for young people eligible for targeted benefits-related free school meals. Additionally young people in several other target cohorts can attend funded places, such as those with SEND or Looked After Children (LAC). Please note, eligibility will be confirmed as part of the booking process.***
