What we'll do
Designed specifically for young people aged 11–15, the Kidwise Next Gen Programme offers an exciting alternative to traditional holiday camps. This programme combines technology, innovation, engineering, creativity and future careers in a fun and social environment. Young people will explore real-world STEM skills through practical workshops, team challenges and hands-on projects. Throughout the programme they will design products using 3D printing technology, learn coding and game design, tackle engineering challenges, carry out exciting chemistry experiments and explore emerging technologies including Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence. The programme is designed to help young people develop confidence, teamwork, problem-solving skills and independence whilst making friends and having fun during the holidays. A Typical Day 11:00pm – 12:00pm Lunch & Social Time 1:00pm – 2:00pm Physical Activity Young people will take part in team sports, walking challenges, fitness games, scavenger hunts and outdoor activities around Woking. 10:00pm – 11:00pm STEM & Innovation Workshop Each day focuses on a different future skill or STEM challenge. Programme Themes. Week 1 – Emotional regulation and future me • Engineering Challenge Day Build bridges, towers and prototypes whilst learning engineering principles. • Virtual Reality & Future Technology Explore VR experiences and discover emerging technologies. Programme Themes. Week 2 – Young Entrepreneurs & Creators • Start-Up Business Challenge Create a business idea, brand and pitch. • Content Creation & Digital Media Photography, video creation and storytelling. • Chemistry & Innovation Lab Hands-on chemistry experiments and materials science. • Dragons' Den Innovation Showcase Work in teams to develop and pitch a new invention. Food Provision A nutritious lunch will be provided daily , including healthy rice bowls, wraps, salads and balanced meal options. Daily physical activity, social time and healthy lunches are all included as part of the programme. Our aim is for every young person to leave feeling more confident, connected and positive about themselves, whilst developing skills that will support them both now and in the future.
