Our Stay & Play sessions provide families with the opportunity to learn, play and explore together through exciting hands-on STEM activities. Children attend alongside a parent, carer or family member, creating opportunities for shared learning and quality family time.
Families will take part in a range of engaging activities including:
• Rocket building and launching
• Engineering construction challenges
• Build a boat and floating challenge
• Volcano eruptions
• Nature-based science activities
• Family problem-solving challenges
• Outdoor games and movement activities
• STEM scavenger hunts
A Typical Session
Arrival & Free Exploration
Families can explore STEM stations including Lego challenges, construction activities, puzzles and sensory play.
Family STEM Workshop
Parents and children work together on a practical science or engineering activity.
Refreshment Break
Families enjoy refreshments and social time together.
Outdoor Activities
Team games, parachute activities, scavenger hunts and family challenges.
Community & Connection
Opportunities for families to meet others, share experiences and build community connections.
