A summary

Welcome to SEN Unity's Summer Adventure! Imagine a place where every child and young person feels welcomed, valued, and supported to explore, learn, and have fun at their own pace. Our Summer Camp offers a magical blend of creativity, sport, friendship, and outdoor adventure, designed especially for children and young people with SEND and their siblings. Participants will enjoy a wide range of engaging activities including arts and crafts, LEGO challenges, paint-by-numbers creations, medal-making, board games, chess, puzzle activities, and sensory-friendly experiences. For those who love to stay active, there will be archery, kin-ball, zorb football, gymnastics, dance, boccia, balloon badminton, multi-sports, team games, and much more. One of the highlights of our summer programme is our forest school and gardening at Roehampton University's beautiful Froebel Campus, where children and young people can enjoy the unique atmosphere of historic buildings, open green spaces, woodland paths, and peaceful gardens. The campus provides a safe and inspiring setting where participants can take part in nature walks, outdoor learning, environmental activities, and simply enjoy the freedom of being surrounded by nature while building friendships and confidence. Whether exploring the outdoors, learning a new sport, creating something special, or sharing a laugh with new friends, every day is designed to encourage independence, wellbeing, social connection, and personal achievement. Our aim is simple: for every participant to leave each session feeling happy, confident, included, and excited to return for another day of summer adventure

What to expect?

Camp Dates and Times Our Summer Camp will run from 23rd July to 13th August, with afternoon sessions taking place from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the beautiful Roehampton University – Froebel College Campus. Aim 1

Enhance Social Skills: Our group-oriented sports and activities encourage teamwork, communication, and positive social interaction

Aim 3

Learn About Nature and Responsibility with forest school activities, children will explore the natural world, basic gardening skills and experiencing the joys of animal care.

Aim 2

By the end of our Holiday Camp, attendees will: Develop Fine Motor Skills: Through hands-on activities children will improve their fine motor coordination and creativity. .

Aim 4

Build Physical Confidence: Engaging in activities like dodgeball, dance, and archery will enhance their motor skills, agility, and confidence in physical abilities.
