A summaryMany programmes focus on teaching techniques. IDEA Futures' Fine Art & Visual Storytelling Bootcamp is designed to help young creatives develop confidence, imagination, and the ability to express ideas through art.
Through hands-on studio projects, creative experimentation, and guidance from practising artists and educators, students will explore how stories, emotions, and ideas can be communicated visually. Whether through drawing, painting, mixed media, sculpture, digital art, or creative storytelling projects, participants will be encouraged to explore different ways of making and develop their own unique creative style.
More than simply creating finished artwork, the programme helps students learn how artists generate ideas, experiment with materials, solve creative challenges, and share their work with others. In a supportive and inclusive environment, participants will build artistic skills, creative confidence, and a collection of work they can be proud of.

Many programmes teach skills. IDEA Futures helps young people develop imagination, confidence, and creative thinking.
Through hands-on studio practice, creative exploration, and personalised guidance, students learn how to turn ideas into meaningful artwork while discovering new ways to express themselves and tell stories through visual art.
This version is much more appropriate for 11–14-year-olds and will also resonate better with parents looking for a creative summer programme rather than a pre-university portfolio course.
