This programme is for you. Join us for a 10-day immersive design camp in London, where young creatives can explore fashion, textiles, illustration, graphic design, and visual storytelling through exciting hands-on projects and workshops. Led by a team of passionate artists, designers, and educators from leading creative institutions, the programme introduces students to a wide range of creative disciplines while encouraging them to develop their own ideas, interests, and creative confidence. Rooted in London's vibrant creative culture, the programme celebrates experimentation, curiosity, and individual ways of thinking, helping every participant discover their unique creative strengths. • • • Why IDEA Futures Every young person learns differently. This programme is designed to provide a creative and supportive environment where students can explore their interests, develop new skills, and grow in confidence. It is especially suitable for students who: • Love art, design, fashion, drawing, or making things • Want to learn new creative and digital skills • Enjoy hands-on learning and practical projects • Think and learn differently, including neurodivergent learners • Would benefit from a smaller, supportive studio environment • Are looking for an inspiring and creative summer experience We focus on creativity, curiosity, and personal growth, helping students gain confidence in both their ideas and their creative work. What You'll Gain • A collection of exciting projects to take home • Greater confidence in your creativity and ideas • New skills in fashion, textiles, design, and illustration • Experience using both traditional and digital creative techniques • Problem-solving and creative thinking skills • The ability to present and talk about your creative work IDEA Excellence Design Award The £200 IDEA Excellence Design Award will be presented to the student who demonstrates outstanding creativity, effort, enthusiasm, and commitment throughout the programme. The award recognises students who embrace challenges, explore new ideas, support their peers, and show exceptional growth during the course. It celebrates both the creative journey and the final outcomes. Programme Completion Certificates All students who successfully complete the programme will receive an official Certificate of Completion. This certificate recognises the skills, knowledge, and creative experience gained throughout the course and celebrates each participant's achievements. How It Works • Studio-led, hands-on creative workshops • Individual guidance and support from tutors • Project-based learning through fun design challenges • Flexible activities designed for different learning styles • A balance of traditional making, drawing, and digital design • Introduction to professional creative software, including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator Who It's For • Young people aged 11–14 with an interest in art, design, fashion, textiles, illustration, or creativity • Beginners who want to explore new creative subjects • Students who enjoy drawing, making, storytelling, and visual communication • Young creatives looking to build confidence and develop new skills Programme Details • Location: London, Hammersmith • Duration: 2 weeks • Schedule: 5 sessions per week Outcome Participants leave with: • A collection of finished creative projects • New artistic and design skills • Greater confidence in their creative abilities • Experience working in a professional studio environment • Inspiration for future creative learning and projects Tutors The programme is delivered by a team of experienced artists, designers, architects, illustrators, and educators who are passionate about helping young people explore creativity and develop their potential. Through practical workshops, students will explore fashion, textiles, design thinking, illustration, visual storytelling, digital design, and creative problem-solving in an engaging and supportive environment. • • • Many programmes teach creative skills.
