A summary
Wednesday 1st April - Morning Build It. Code It. Drive It. Remote Controlled Robot Car Challenge Children will build and program their own remote-controlled robot car using the Micro:bit. They will code two Micro:bits to enable them to control a real moving vehicle, all programmed themselves. Testing, tweaking, racing, and problem-solving are all part of the challenge. When that robot moves for the first time because of the code they wrote, the excitement is incredible. Afternoon Minecraft Maze Escape In Minecraft Education, children will design and build a maze from scratch. Then the real challenge begins. They must program their Agent to escape using smart coding and logical thinking. If it fails, they will need to debug it. If it works, they level up their skills. It is Minecraft with real coding power behind it. Throughout the day, children stay active, build confidence, work as a team, and experience technology in a hands-on, exciting way. If your child loves Minecraft, robots, creating, or figuring out how things work, this is the holiday club they have been waiting for. At Jam Coding, we run fun and inspiring holiday clubs across Worcestershire and Herefordshire, blending digital creativity with hands-on activities to create an unforgettable experience for children. Activity Description: Our holiday clubs offer an exciting mix of coding, animation, and digital design, alongside engaging offline activities such as crafts, sports, and puzzles. Every activity, whether online or offline, is designed with an underlying theme of healthy living, encouraging children to develop both their digital and physical skills. We’ve carefully structured our timetable to ensure a balanced 50/50 split between screen-based learning and hands-on creative play, giving children the best of both worlds in a safe, engaging, and enriching environment.

Our mission is clear: to inspire the next generation of digital citizens, bridge the digital divide, and ensure equal access to technology and learning opportunities for all. Through engaging, hands-on experiences, we equip children with the tools they need to thrive in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
