Join Active Hastings and Freedom Leisure coach for this introduction to the sport that is taking the world by storm. Try out this new sport and the new courts in the town. All abilities are welcome, and we'll provide all the equipment you need. Just come along in comfortable clothing that you can move around in, wear trainers, and bring a bottle of water. Quick reminder: If your plans have changed and you can no longer make it, please cancel your booking. We anticipate we will have a long waiting list for this session and would love to give another child the chance to join the fun if your child can not attend.

Physical activity sessions for everyone!
Active Hastings is an externally funded partnership project between Hastings Borough Council and East Sussex County Council Public Health. We have been working in partnership since 2006 to give local residents easy, fun ways to get their everyday dose of physical activity. It only takes 150 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity each week for adults and 60 minutes every day for children to benefit your health, both mental and physical. You can even break it down into 10 minute slots! All of our team are experienced sports coaches, fitness instructors and play workers, who are passionate about working with people of all ages in Hastings and St Leonards. We run free or low cost sessions throughout the year, as well as holiday activities as part of the Holiday Activity and Food programme.
