A summary
This course has been developed to provide learners with the confidence to deliver safe, fun and inclusive basketball sessions under the supervision of an independent coach. Previously, this was the level 1 coaching award.

During the day we will be covering an introduction to coaching of basketball, including how to empower players with the skills, drills and basic knowledge to play basketball.
During the afternoon session, British Red Cross will also be delivering a first aid course for participants.
Post competition of the day, participations will receive a Basketball England and British Red Cross certificate.
