A summary
Join Erin at Cafe Connect on Meadowbank Park for this fun and calming inclusive children's yoga session. Suitable for children with low level additional needs/disabilities, the session will be run in Cafe Connect- closed to the public. The session will be creative in nature to support children's engagement as they learn breathing techniques, yogic stretches and gentle creative movement- linked to familiar characters and a mini relaxation. Equipment will be provided, and children are encouraged to wear suitable, comfortable clothing appropriate for moving around in. No shoes needed but grippy socks welcome if children do not like having their feet uncovered. Please bring a water bottle as the cafe can get hot! Details of children's needs are required upon booking to assess suitability. This class is suitable for children with low level additional needs and disabilities. Sibling's are welcome if required for engagement, but only 1 sibling per child with additional needs and disabilities. There will be max 8-10 children in the session. Adults are encouraged to leave children at the session without supervision unless they deem this necessary and appropriate for support needs.
