A summary
This programme is funded through the Milton Keynes Council EHCP+ scheme, ensuring that young people who have an EHCP that require additional support are able to access high-quality, inclusive provision. ✨ Inclusive Fitness is committed to working in partnership with families, professionals and local services to provide meaningful opportunities that support long-term development and wellbeing. Inclusive Fitness is a specialist provider delivering structured health and fitness sessions designed to support young people aged 16–25 with special educational needs and disabilities. Our sessions focus on creating a positive, inclusive environment where participants can build confidence, develop life skills and improve their overall wellbeing through movement and physical activity. ✨ We provide one-hour sessions that combine fitness, fun and education. Each session is carefully planned to include engaging physical activities such as circuit training, strength exercises, cardio-based movement and interactive games. Alongside physical activity, participants are supported to learn about healthy habits and lifestyle choices, helping them to develop a better understanding of how to look after their bodies and minds. A key part of our sessions is promoting emotional wellbeing. We incorporate simple relaxation and mindfulness techniques, including basic meditation, to help participants develop strategies for managing stress, regulating emotions and improving focus. This holistic approach ensures that participants are supported both physically and mentally. ✨ Inclusive Fitness sessions are designed to be adaptable and person-centred. We recognise that every individual has different needs, abilities and starting points. Activities are modified to ensure all participants can take part in a way that feels safe, achievable and enjoyable. Our aim is to create a supportive space where young people feel encouraged to try new things, build resilience and experience success. In addition to physical and emotional benefits, the sessions aim to empower participants with important life skills. These include building confidence, improving communication, developing independence and encouraging positive routines. By engaging in regular structured activity, young people are supported to make healthier choices that can have a lasting impact on their daily lives. ✨ Overall, Inclusive Fitness aims to empower young people through health and fitness, helping them to build confidence, develop essential life skills and create positive relationships with movement that will benefit them into adulthood
