About your mentors
Heart of Sidley
Act. Belong. Commit
By 2025 Sidley will be a place where people are actively involved in their community. They'll proud to belong to Sidley and have a commitment to its future. We work closely with local residents and businesses to deliver local priorities and projects to benefit the local community. Whether that be through partnership working with other organisations, or providing support and funds through the community grant scheme. We support local organisations and volunteers to provide all year-round activities to old and young alike. We also host several FREE and fun activities and events throughout the year, including our summer fun day and Christmas Extravaganza. We are committed to deliver our future plans, click through the tabs to find out more about the Heart of Sidley.
Bexhill Family Collective CIC
Reducing barriers to a fulfilling life.
The Bexhill Family Collective originally formed in August 2020 as a direct response to nursery and children’s centre closures within Bexhill. In March 2021 we opened Dragonflies Community Nursery on the same site as Rainbow Childcare Centre which was sadly closed in December 2020. We received an amazing response from the people of Bexhill, but the more people we met, the more stories we heard of how the then, pandemic, and now, cost of living crisis is affecting all people within Bexhill and Rother. While Dragonflies Community Nursery goes from strength to strength; Bexhill Family Collective CIC now work to meet the needs of local people with the hope, that one day, everyone has access to work, education and leisure which enables them to lead fulfilling lives.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
