A summary
This small group session is designed to support young people in building confidence, communication skills and social awareness in a calm and structured setting. Sessions focus on: • Expressing opinions confidently • Understanding different perspectives • Navigating friendships and peer dynamics • Managing disagreements respectfully • Developing self awareness and emotional understanding The group is capped to keep the environment supportive and purposeful. It is discussion based, guided and age appropriate. This is not academic tutoring and not therapy. It is a structured social development group created specifically for home educated learners. Led by Cat, who has extensive experience supporting young people with SEN, SEMH and neurodivergence.

Hello! My name is Cat and I am a Home Ed Teacher based in Tameside. I am working with all ages to provide a safe and peaceful environment for young people to learn and thrive.
Additional Information
This group is led by Cat, who has 7 years experience supporting young people with SEN, SEMH and neurodivergence. She is a Mental Health First Aider, Level 3 qualified in Counselling and Level 5 Safeguarding trained. Sessions are structured, discussion based and capped to keep the environment calm and supportive. This is not therapy or academic tuition, but a focused social confidence group for home educated learners. If your child has known triggers or finds regulation difficult, please let us know in advance so we can put appropriate support in place.
