A summary
We have set up these additional play sessions at a smaller venue to compliment our larger Hastings Adventure Play ground Holiday and food ( HAF) sessions .From our bespoke playful bungalow and outside fenced play space we will provide a quality play setting offering a variety of play opportunities for younger children and for primary school children who may prefer a quieter, smaller setting . We will provide a range of resources to encourage children to extend and direct their own play to the fullest. The children have access to a setting full of different play opportunities including loose part play, arts and crafts, gardening, science activities, circus skills, den building, messy play, woodwork and fire play. Children will have the opportunity to help prepare their own lunch and playworkers are on hand to support and facilitate their play. The Bungalow and fenced garden space allows for free play inside and out, through out all sessions . Please ensure you wear appropriate clothing as our children are encouraged to play out in all weathers and lots of the play activities we provide may get messy!
***This activity has been funded through the Department for Education’s (DfE) Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme and coordinated by East Sussex County Council. Fully funded places are available for young people eligible for benefits-related free school meals. This eligibility criteria has been defined by the DfE. Additionally young people in several other target cohorts can attend funded places, such as those with SEND or Looked After Children (LAC). Please note, eligibility will be confirmed as part of the booking process.***

When you arrive you will be welcomed to play inside or out side and can chose to play with with any of the play offers we have on site . Play staff will be there to help or resource your play if you wish them to. Snack will be available through out the morning and afternoon in an area where you can help yourself or ask a playworker to help you get something to eat. Lunch will be served around 1pm, tables to eat at will be provided within the inside space but also outside ( as we have a sheltered area even if it rains) .We can let you know what will be for lunch if you message us once you have booked in, we will provide a few options and a healthy pudding too. The sessions will be set up to offer a range of play opportunities that suit our smaller space .There will be lots of creative options, loose parts and messy play .Children are free move between any of the play offers through out the day . If there is something not out that you fancy playing then please do ask us as our play staff are there to help resource your play .

In2play is an independent community interest company based in Hastings, East Sussex, established to deliver community benefit in 2006. We have managed the Hastings Adventure Playground site since it opened in 2010. As well as housing our Ofsted outstanding rated pre-school the site currently provides HAF sessions and free out-of-school play provision for children aged 8 to 17 years, 2 nights a week and family days on Saturday mornings. Locally In2play also provide a number of other services including street play and community play provision, Family drop In's and we have recently opened a second pre school site at Sydney Close with NEW HAF sessions for children aged 6 to 11 years being offered during the 2025 school holidays. Over our 17 years of service what we deliver has consistently been drawn from community need . We respond using local knowledge and lived experience from across our director board, staffing team and our with the trust and support of our local families.
