A summary

We have a fantastic programme of activities taking place over 4 weeks during the Christmas break.

Each day runs from 9:00am until 1:00pm & will include a welcome briefing, the main activity session, a snack & a healthy nutritional hot lunch.

GROUP SIZE: Our maximum group size is 16 with a ratio of 1 member of staff to 8 young people. Staff/student ratio = 1:8 / 2:16.

Kayaking, Stand Up Paddle Boarding
Canoe
Climbing Wall
Abseiling
Rock Climbing
Mountain Biking
Caving
Raft-Building Archery

Suited to complete beginners, we'll support you all the way, it's going to be a fantastic summer!

Learning aims

Aim 1

• Meet new friends - You might already have friends attending our HaF programme & without a doubt, you'll meet & make new friends.

• Try a new activity - With over 20 fantastic adventure activities available at the Centre, our wide & varied programme allows you to try something you have never done before.

Aim 3

• Learn new skills - You will learn new skills in each activity as well as well as learning aspects of safety & risk & how these are managed.

Aim 4

• Be part of a team - Without a doubt, for the majority of the activities you will need to be part of & work as part of a team.

Aim 5

• Build your confidence and communication skills - Our HaF activities are designed to build your confidence, self-esteem & communication skills. Our focus is on participation no matter if you have never done an activity before. We're here to support you all the way!

Aim 6

• Have a snack, drinks & a nutritional hot meal - All these activities use up energy, that's why we refuel you during your visit with healthy, nutritional snacks a hot lunch.

Aim 7

• Leave having had the very best of times and wanting to do it all again on the next HaF Holiday programme.
