A summary
Children will enjoy football on our state‑of‑the‑art 3G pitch in a safe, engaging environment led by fully FA qualified coaches trained in Safeguarding and First Aid.
Our indoor facilities offer arts and crafts and music for those who prefer creative activities, and a lunchtime quiz encourages everyone to take part.
Those who qualify for Free School Meals will receive a healthy lunch each day.
We are pleased to deliver our Summer HAF Camp following the success of our previous Christmas and Easter programmes.
Our Summer programme will be over the first 3 weeks of August 2026. We will have 3 fully qualified coaches to deliver our summer HAF Camp

Herefordshire FA’s HAF Camp has once again will provide an engaging and inclusive summer experience for young people across the county. Designed to support children, particularly those eligible for free school meals, the programme combines physical activity, social interaction, and nutritious meals in a safe and welcoming environment.
This summer’s camps will feature a focus on football-based activities, alongside a variety of multi-sport and enrichment sessions. Qualified coaches and staff have delivered fun, skill-building sessions that encourage teamwork, confidence, and physical wellbeing. Beyond sport, participants have taken part in creative workshops, educational games, and personal development activities, helping to broaden their experiences during the school holidays.
A key element of the programme is the provision of healthy meals and snacks, ensuring attendees receive balanced nutrition while learning about healthy lifestyles. The camps also play an important role in supporting families by offering affordable, high-quality childcare during the summer break.
Overall, Herefordshire FA’s HAF Camp continues to have a positive impact on local communities, promoting wellbeing, inclusion, and opportunity. By combining sport with education and nutrition, it will create a valuable and memorable summer experience for children across Herefordshire.

I play a key role in delivering grassroots football initiatives across the county. With a strong focus on participation, inclusion, and player development, I works closely with clubs, schools, and community organisations to grow the game and create positive football experiences for all. I have been at Herefordshire FA for 8 years. I am the lead staff member for Disability, Inclusion and more recently Schools Football including Primary/Secondary and SEND. I have been an active FA Qualified coach for over 29 years. I have managed/coached junior and senior football in both the women's and men's game. I was Hereford FC's 1st team Goalkeeping coach, Womens Manager and Academy Coach and have also held a role at Lincoln City as Head of Academy Goalkeeping. I really enjoy the interaction and engagement with the children and look forward to hosting our successful HAF Camps. My purpose is to "create a community united by the power of football through the development, promotion and supporting of positive, safe and inclusive football opportunities For All".
