Halo Leisure and Herefordshire Council have come together to offer eligible families free family fun over the holidays with a free HAF Holiday Pass. Active on, 21st to 31st December, this pass gives your family unlimited access to local leisure facilities to stay active and build lasting memories together.
Key Dates & Deadlines
- Valid Pass Dates: 21st to 31st December, 10 days (Christmas opening times vary by centre)
- Application Deadline: 15th December at 23:00.
- Ticket Date Notice: Your ticket may display a single date, but your pass is valid for the dates listed above. You do not need to cancel your ticket if you wish to visit on a different listed date.

- Swimming & Gym (includes Gym Induction & Fitness Plan)
- Group Exercise Classes & Toning Suite (age restrictions apply)
- Racket Sports
- JumpINGym Indoor Soft Play (age restrictions apply)
- Outdoor Cycle Track, Athletics Track & Golf (Hereford Leisure Centre)
How It Works
- Apply: Submit your application before tickets close.
- Processing (Please Read): Passes are processed in bulk after applications close. Please do not contact us before this date. Passes will be approved once added to our system.
- Get Your Membership: Once approved, contact your local centre to receive your membership number.
- Book Activities: Pre-book sessions up to 7 days in advance using the Halo Leisure App, calling the contact team on 01432 842075, or calling/visiting your local centre. (Pre-booking is optional, but sessions are subject to availability).
Important Rules & Guidelines
- Applications: When registering, you must include your children on the application. Adults cannot apply on their own.
- Adult Passes: Available to parents/guardians of primary-aged or SEND children, and are strictly not to be used without children present. Adult passes are valid only when accompanying a participating child.
- Attendance: Failure to use your pass may result in future holiday memberships being declined.
- Food & Drink: The pass does not include free refreshments. Select centres have cafés on-site where food and drinks can be purchased.

This allows us to keep our costs low and offer outstanding value for money. Basically, when our customers spend money with us, we largely reinvest this into Halo services. So users are helping to sustain leisure activities for everyone across the county to enjoy – from pre and post natal exercise classes, babies in the ‘Swim-A-Song’ sessions, specialist exercise classes for people with MS, to toddlers at Gymnastics and to Senior group exercise classes.
