HAF Woodland Days -Churchwood

PLAY FREE & BE WILD WITH PROJECT REWILD Thanks to the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme we are able to offer Free outdoor activity days to local children all year. Join the Project Rewild team for nature based play and learning. Activities include: Nature based games and play, bushcraft, music, Archery, exploration, foraging, campfire cooking, nature based arts and crafts, storytelling, wild free play & creation FREE HEALTHY LUNCH IS PREPARED AND COOKED ON THE FIRE WITH THE CHILDREN. MUCH OF OUR FOOD IS GROWN ON OUR LOCAL ALLOTMENT. Groups take place in Churchwood in Hollington Free spaces are available to local children age 7-14 years. “Free spaces are available to eligible, local children age 7 to 14 years. Places are allocated in line with the funding restrictions explained below.” ***This activity has been funded through the Department for Education’s (DfE) Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme and coordinated by East Sussex County Council. Fully funded places are available for young people eligible for benefits-related free school meals. This eligibility criteria has been defined by the DfE. Additionally young people in several other target cohorts can attend funded places, such as those with SEND or Looked After Children (LAC). Please note, eligibility will be confirmed as part of the booking process.***
