A summary

This summer, give your child a space to shine.
Join us for the TC HAF Summer Music Camp – our exciting holiday music and creativity programme at Heath Park Community Centre, Rusholme Ave, Dagenham RM10 7PR.

Across eight inspiring afternoons in two weeks, children will dive into songwriting, rap lyric writing, creative storytelling and performance workshops. It’s all about self-expression, teamwork and building confidence, while having loads of fun in a safe, supportive environment.

Every session includes a healthy meal and refreshments, and our experienced facilitators are fully trained and enhanced DBS-checked, ensuring a safe and welcoming space for all.

Who can join
This programme is free for children receiving benefit-related Free School Meals through the Holiday Activities & Food (HAF) scheme.

Not eligible? No problem – your child can still take part for just £10 per day.

For those already attending our Unleash Your Creativity After-School Club, please note that this will replace our usual programming for those two weeks.

True Cadence CIC

True Cadence is a multi-award-winning non-profit music social enterprise based in Barking & Dagenham, and serving the entire East London. We exist for one purpose: to nurture young musical talents from under-resourced communities, providing them with the tools and opportunities to become ‘industry-ready’ professionals in the music industry. As the home of grassroots music business education and non-profit organisation, we work with upcoming artists and aspiring music industry professionals who wish to know how the music industry works. We provide tailored music workshops, mentorship, and a platform for young people to understand the business side of music while building the skills, confidence, and social network they need to access life-changing opportunities in the industry. From promotion to distribution and everything in between, we help them learn the ropes of music management. Our Mission: Our Mission is to unearth the hidden talents of young people in our under-resourced communities through high quality music education. Our Vision: Our Vision is for every young person to express themselves creatively and have the opportunity to make it in the music industry.

Cancellation policy

Please note that no refunds will be given once a booking is confirmed, as food, facilitators and materials are arranged in advance. If you need to cancel at least one week before the start date, a partial refund may be considered at our discretion. For free bookings, refunds do not apply, but as places are limited, please cancel if you’re unable to attend so your place can be offered to another child.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
