SEND Family Holiday Club – FUN for the Whole Family
Bringing up a child or young person with a disability or additional need can be both incredibly rewarding and, at times, challenging. Families United Network (FUN) understands the importance of providing a safe, welcoming environment where the whole family can relax, have fun and feel supported.
Our SEND Family Holiday Club operates during most school holidays, providing children and young people with opportunities to play, learn, build confidence and develop friendships in a safe, inclusive and non-judgemental environment.
Our fully accessible centre includes:
Large activity hall with ball pool, bouncy castle and other play equipment
Sensory room with overhead hoist
Fully accessible changing facilities with overhead hoist and full-size changing bench
Computers and iPads
Pool table, air hockey and table football
Arts and crafts
Book corner
LEGO, cars and trains
Dressing-up area
Sensory play activities
Coffee Shop serving a selection of drinks and snacks
Our experienced staff and volunteers are on hand throughout the day to encourage and support children and young people to participate in the wide range of activities available. Parents and carers are also encouraged to join in and enjoy quality time with their children while meeting other families who understand the unique experiences of raising a child with additional needs.
Siblings are very welcome to attend when accompanying their disabled brother or sister, making Holiday Club an enjoyable experience for the whole family.
Important Booking Information
This booking system is for children and young people with SEND aged 4–18 years.
Please select the appropriate booking option when making your reservation:
FSM Child with SEND – for children and young people with SEND who are eligible for Free School Meals (HAF funded).
Non-FSM Child with SEND – for children and young people with SEND who are not eligible for Free School Meals but wish to attend Holiday Club.
Please only make bookings for the child or young person with SEND through the EEQU booking system.
Children under the age of 4 are not eligible for HAF funding and any booking made for a child under 4 will be declined by the system. If you wish to bring a child under 4 years of age, please reply to your booking confirmation email and we will advise you whether we are able to accommodate them.
If siblings will also be attending, you do not need to make a separate booking for them. During the booking process, you will be asked whether the child being booked has a Special Educational Need and/or Disability (SEND), or whether they are a sibling attending with a child who has SEND. This information helps us manage attendance numbers for health and safety purposes.
Please note that siblings are welcome to attend but are not funded through the HAF programme although will still be FREE for them to attend as funded through the Charity.
Parent and Carer Responsibilities.
Please note that Holiday Club is a family session.
Parents or carers must attend with their child(ren) and remain on site for the entire session. While our staff oversee activities and encourage participation, responsibility for the care and supervision of all children remains with the parent or carer throughout the session.
Children cannot be dropped off or attend Holiday Club without their parent or carer.

Parking
We have a number of spaces available on site but spaces are not guaranteed and are provided on a first come first served basis. All our spaces are marked as Unit 5 and there will be a staff member monitoring the car park.
