HAF Summer for Teenagers - 12-16 year old 2026

House of Culture Brighton – Summer HAF Programme (Ages 13–16) Bored with doing nothing over the summer? We're running Art & Wellbeing sessions just for teens – a safe, inclusive space to relax, get creative, and hang out. No pressure, no judgement, just good vibes. Here's what's on: - Design, Print & Paint (Tuesdays) – Develop your own original character using TinkerCAD or HeroForge, print them out on our 3D printer, then customise with your own colours. Your design, your creation. - Electronics & RC Cars (Thursdays) – Get hands-on with electronics and build or race RC cars. Part engineering, part chaos, fully good fun. It's Not Just About Art There's time to chill, reflect, and have real conversations about wellbeing, healthy habits, and how you're actually doing. Free nutritious food at every session too – because creativity runs better when you're fuelled up. Why Come? You don't need to be "good at art." It's a space to express yourself, try something new, meet people, and look after your headspace. Whether you want to design and 3D print your own character, get stuck into electronics, or have a chill afternoon – we've got you. Spaces are limited – grab your spot!

A few terms & conditions from Brighton & Hove City Council: • Eligibility criteria – Brighton & Hove HAF funded places are for children and young people in reception to year 11 who receive benefits-related free school meals. • Limits on bookings – Over Summer, Eequ will permit each eligible participant to be booked on to 16 HAF places across all providers in the city. If a session is not attended, HAF places cannot be added back on to an individual’s allocation, regardless of reason. It is therefore important that sessions are cancelled before the activity starts, and ideally giving a minimum of a few days’ notice where possible to allow other children to benefit.
