A summary

Our Sessions run from 9.30am - 2.30pm. Our Sessions start with a Meet and Greet over breakfast. The rest of the day includes hands on pony care such as feeding, watering and grooming. There will be opportunities to ride and play games with the ponies. We also spend sometime in the classroom learning about how to look after the ponies, the different colours and markings of ponies and basic pony knowledge. The children spend an hour and a half with our food coach leaning basic food knowledge, balanced diet and basic kitchen rules while helping her prepare and cook their hot lunch and desert. Children MUST have special educational needs to attend this SEND specialist programme.

I-Pegasus is a non-profit making community interest company (CIC), founded to deliver the British Horse Society’s Changing Lives Through Horses programme in our locality.

Clothing

If this is your first time with us, please wear comfortable clothing like leggings or loose-fitting jeans or jogging bottoms, flat shoes or wellies.  We will fit every rider with one of our hats and a pair of boots before their riding session.  It is also a very good idea to bring a waterproof coat as some activities will be outdoor activities.
