A summary
Print Lab: 3D Printing Adventure (Ages 14–16) Got ideas? Let’s make them real! Join us at House of Culture Brighton for Print Lab – a creative, hands-on 3D printing workshop for 14–16 year olds. You’ll learn how to turn your sketches into digital designs and bring them to life using real 3D printers. No experience needed – just your imagination and curiosity. It’s fun, creative, and a great way to try something new, meet people, and learn cool skills. Spaces are limited – book now! A few T&Cs from Brighton & Hove City Council: • Eligibility criteria – Brighton & Hove HAF funded places are for children and young people in reception to year 11 who receive benefits-related free school meals. • Limits on bookings – Over Summer, Eequ will permit each eligible participant to be booked on to 16 HAF places across all providers in the city. If a session is not attended, HAF places cannot be added back on to an individual’s allocation, regardless of reason. It is therefore important that sessions are cancelled before the activity starts, and ideally giving a minimum of a few days’ notice where possible to allow other children to benefit. Bookings can be managed by the Booker by logging into Eequ and reviewing their Schedule.

Creativity / Maker Mentor
My journey into creative mentoring started with my son, who’s neuro-divergent. Together we created The Sad Samurai to help him explore emotions through storytelling, which sparked my work supporting other young people through projects like Collective Minds, a mental health-focused theatre programme. I’ve completed Peer Support and Mental Health First Aid training, and I’m continuing to develop skills in youth coaching and facilitation. What I enjoy most is seeing confidence grow — when young people connect, express themselves, and feel heard.
