A summary
We will be offering a diverse range of hands-on, engaging outdoor and indoor experiences for our learners across the summer break: Physical & Nature Exploration: Outdoor sports, nature walks, and outdoor games. Outdoor Skills & Craft: Bushcraft activities, woodwork, and gardening. Creative Arts: Dedicated craft and music sessions. Animal & Food Education: Animal care, baking, and "farm-to-fork" activities. Catering: A nutritious lunch is provided for all participants. These will be delivered by our team who possess the skills and training required to support neurodivergent learners effectively at our New Leaf Centre site where we have the facilities, equipment and adaptations to meet diverse sensory and accessibility needs.

The New Leaf Centre
Nurturing Growth, Inspiring Potential
New Leaf Centre is a specialist therapeutic alternative provision for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Based in a calm, rural setting on the outskirts of Penrith, we provide a structured, supportive environment that enables learners to re-engage with education, rebuild confidence, and achieve meaningful progress. We work in partnership with local authorities, schools, and families to deliver individualised programmes tailored to each young person's needs, including those with Education, Health and care Plans (EHCPs).
