A summary

MB Community CIC’s Camp in Chingford offers children aged 5–14 a safe, inclusive and engaging holiday experience. Each day is packed with multi-sports, football, arts and crafts, slime making, T-shirt design, smoothie making, disco and a fun our trained and friendly staff focus on building confidence, teamwork and new friendships while keeping children active during the school holidays. Healthy hot meals and snacks are provided daily, with vegan and gluten-free options available. The camp is suitable for a wide range of abilities, and our team has experience supporting children with additional needs, including diabetes. HAF-funded places are available for eligible families, alongside paid spaces for the wider community.

Learning aims

Aim 1

Children will experience a variety of sports and physical activities in a safe and trusted environment.

Aim 2

Participants will gain simple, age-appropriate knowledge about healthy eating and basic safety awareness (such as introductory CPR) delivered in fun, engaging ways.

Aim 3

Through activities such as T-shirt design and arts sessions, children will develop creativity, imagination and confidence in expressing their ideas visually.

Aim 4

By the end of the programme, they will have improved basic movement skills, teamwork and confidence in being active.
