Disability Sport Yorkshire

We are committed to making Yorkshire the best place in England for disabled people to: Improve their health and wellbeing through physical activity Engage in active recreation and sport on a regular basis Be recognised and included in the sport sector While so much has been achieved since 1993, participation rates in sport for disabled people are much lower than those of non-disabled people. We are working to secure the resources to ensure that disabled people have access to a physical activity of their choice, close to their local area. Providing Equal Opportunities At DSY, we aim to make sport as accessible and engaging for disabled people as possible, allowing them to participate at their chosen level.
