A summary
Nkuri Arts has been awarded grant funding from Milton Keynes City Council to deliver sessions for the Holiday Activities and Food Programme, for children in receipt of benefit-related Free School Meals (FSM), during Summer school holidays in 2023.
These sessions are held indoors! No fear of getting wet.
During these sessions you will have the opportunity to take part in African drumming,
Please arrive in good time as session starts at 10am. Bring a water bottle.
It is not suitable to wear dresses or skirts for this activity as drums are played between knees, it is advised to wear shorts, trousers, or leggings.
Please DO NOT bring any fizzy drinks, snacks, sweets, or food as people attending my have allergies.
All food is provided and plenty of fresh fruit available for snacks.
Please notify us of any special dietary requirements, especially allergies.
The hot meals will be vegetarian/vegan.

Annie has been teaching African Drumming for over 15 years in Milton Keynes and surrounding area and learned her skills from African Master Drummers in the UK and in Ghana. Annie is also and African drum maker/repairer, one of only a few in the UK.
