Back by popular demand! We’re so excited to share that Green Paths Education CIC will again host HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) sessions this April in Chivenor, North Devon! These sessions are all about giving children a chance to have fun, make friends, and enjoy the great outdoors—all while discovering new skills and savouring delicious, healthy meals. Our sessions blend outdoor education with forest therapy, creating a space where every child feels valued and supported. Kids will get to try their hand at bushcraft activities like fire lighting, building dens, and learning knot tying—fantastic for boosting problem-solving, teamwork, and confidence. We’ll also have creative nature-inspired arts and crafts, where kids can make something special using natural materials while connecting more deeply with the environment. And let’s not forget the joy of outdoor cooking! With guidance, children will prepare healthy meals over an open fire—learning valuable life skills and feeling a real sense of achievement. For those who prefer a quieter, calmer setting, we’ll have a dedicated area for mindfulness activities like breathing exercises and peaceful nature walks, perfect for promoting mental well-being. We’ll also bring everyone together for team challenges and fun nature games to encourage social interaction, build friendships, and strengthen communication skills. Our skilled team—including specialists in SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)—will be there every step of the way to ensure each child feels included and cared for. We’re here to create a nurturing space where they can flourish, gain confidence, and take home lasting memories from the beautiful North Devon countryside. We can’t wait to see children thrive, create, and feel empowered through these experiences. Let’s make this April an unforgettable adventure!
